The debate around leaving the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) is uniting the Tories and Reform UK against Sir Keir Starmer, ex-Home Secretary Suella Braverman has claimed.
Mrs Braverman, who has been tipped to defect to Reform UK, joined ex-Brexit negotiator Lord Frost to discuss the implications of leaving the Strasbourg convention.
Addressing the unity on the right, Mrs Braverman said: "When we launched the paper a month ago at the Prosperity Institute offices, Richard Tice, from Reform, spoke and endorsed the paper.
"Arlene Foster, who doesn't sit as a DUP peer today, but is officially a former DUP First Minister, has written the foreword to the paper.
"This paper has commanded cross-party support and members of the DUP are supportive of it. I think this does show that this can be a catalyst. It has already. The right is united on this issue, whatever way you break down the right."
The fringe event comes just days after Kemi Badenoch confirmed that the Tory Party will make withdrawal from the ECHR a manifesto commitment.
Reform UK is also committed to leaving the ECHR, with Nigel Farage putting forward his Operation Restoring Justice plan in August.
However, top Tory MPs traded barbs with Reform UK's leadership ahead of the Conservative Party Conference over their shared position to leave the ECHR.

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp suggested only the Tories have a "proper plan" to deal with the migrant crisis.
Sir James Cleverly, who returned to the Tories' frontbench as Shadow Housing Secretary in July, also decried Reform UK's policy as "bulls**t".
Meanwhile, Reform UK chairman Dr David Bull argued that Mrs Badenoch had simply "copied and pasted" Mr Farage's proposal.
Despite holding similar views on the ECHR, Reform UK and the Tories remain at odds with Sir Keir Starmer's Labour Government.

| PADespite facing growing pressure from Labour veterans to take a tougher stance on the Strasbourg convention, the Prime Minister remains against "tear[ing] down" human rights laws.
Attorney General Lord Hermer even compared those advocating for the UK to withdraw from the Strasbourg convention to Nazis, sparking widespread condemnation.
But Mrs Braverman, who revealed she now supports abolishing the Supreme Court, joked about Sir Keir reading over her proposal to leave the ECHR.
The Fareham & Waterlooville MP quipped: "If Keir Starmer is listening out there, you are welcome to read the paper.

Despite Mrs Braverman's comments about unity, the Tory Party still risks significant infighting over its push to leave the ECHR.
Sir Ed Davey is actively encouraging disgruntled Tory MPs to cross the floor by warning that leaving the ECHR would make the UK a pariah state akin to Vladimir Putin's Russia.

| PAEx-Justice Secretary Robert Buckland, who lost his Swindon seat in the 2024 General Election, has already broken ranks with Mrs Badenoch over the Strasbourg court.
Sir Robert revealed that he "does not agree" with Kemi Badenoch's plan to leave the ECHR, adding: "We can't just leave everything when we don't like thing."
However, Mrs Badenoch is forcing all Conservative MPs and candidates to sign up to her position on the ECHR if they wish to stand at the next General Election.
"They can be in the party, but they cannot stand as MPs," the Tory leader said.
