Eamonn Holmes brutally shut down a Labour Councillor after he accused the GB News host of being a "cynic" about the Labour Government.
Discussing the party's conference on GB News, the anchor furiously told Dominic Moffitt that he "doesn't live in the real world" and is "steeped in politics".
During the fiery debate on the "relevance" of Labour's conference, Eamonn took aim at Sir Keir, telling Mr Moffitt: "Keir Starmer today will talk about how Britain stands at a fork in the road between renewal or decline and presumably, he is the renewal part of all of this. Do you know what? I don't believe it!"
The commentator responded: "That's interesting to hear, but fundamentally, party conferences are about politicians talking about what vision they have for the future, they want to act on things. And you say they're not talking about pubs, but actually they are."

Eamonn quickly interjected, exclaiming: "What are they doing about it then?!"
Mr Moffitt stated: "That's the whole point, they are discussing what to do about it with people actually working in the industry, with trade associations representing the industry.
"And that's part of those events going on at Labour Party conference."
Quizzing the left-wing commentator on the Labour Party representing "working people", Eamonn said: "The Labour Party, the clue's in the title, they should be representing the Labour workforce, people who are representing the working man and woman.

| PA"I've been around for long enough, I've known enough politicians, I've experienced enough things in life, and I don't believe any of them. My father used to say, and he was a carpet fitter, none of them represent the working man. Do you think you do?"
Taking a swipe at Eamonn, Mr Moffitt jibed: "Well, I know you're a cynic, but I think the Labour Party does represent the working person, and I think that's evident."
Eamonn immediately hit back, fuming: "I'm not a cynic, I'm a realist, I'm a realist about this. You don't look as if you live in the real world."
Turning to Pub Landlord Marc Bridgen, Eamonn told GB News: "See, Dominic is one of these idealists, he's steeped in politics, you can tell he's grown up and was probably in a political party when he was a primary school.

"You tell him where you feel he's getting it wrong."
Mr Bridgen responded: "The numbers speak for themselves. People are completely disillusioned, that's why they're not following this.
"What they want is to see the politicians who only got elected just over a year ago, getting on with bringing about some change and making things better for the people and specifically our industry.
"Yet we just see them talking about what they're going to do, which they decided just over a year ago. Why don't they get on and do it?"
