Watch the moment GB News panellist Carole Malone lashes out at Angela Rayner in a brutal swipe amid calls for the Deputy Prime Minister to resign.
Ms Rayner has landed in hot water after confessing to underpaying stamp duty on her £800,000 luxury seaside pad in Hove.
Speaking on the People’s Channel, Ms Malone said it is time for the Deputy Prime Minister to step down, accusing her of rank hypocrisy.
She also took issue with Ms Rayner’s emotional interview with Sky News, in which she choked back tears while admitting she had given serious thought to resigning.
Ms Malone said Ms Rayner's emotional display was 'cowardly'

“I cannot believe she hasn’t resigned yet,” said Ms Malone.
“Watching her yesterday turning on the tears, bringing up her disabled son and using that as an excuse.

“This is the cowardly act of a cheat who has been found out. She’s only sorry she was found out. Ignorance is no defence; even unfortunate circumstances are no defence with HMRC, as many have found out.
“She should have the moral fortitude to say, ‘I have to go,’ but we know she doesn’t. If she hasn’t, then Starmer should have the guts to sack her, but we know he won’t because he’s spineless.

“If he sacks her, the hard Left will go for him. There’s lots of pressure because she is very popular with the hard Left.
“Even until Tuesday, the Government was insisting this was all lies and that people were out to get her. The bottom line is, if this is a smear campaign—and I do believe people are leaking details about her—but if it’s all true, I believe it should be in the public sphere.”
Political commentator Judita DaSilva railed against Ms Malone’s arguments, saying anybody would have done the same as Ms Rayner were they in her shoes.
“We have to be very careful. We have a situation where the matrimonial home is effectively owned by the trust, mum and dad. When you have sold your stake to the trust, it is now owned by the dad and the trust,” she explained.

“Think of anyone who has been through a divorce. The most contested item is the matrimonial home. Once it is no longer yours and it is awarded to one party, you’re out of it.
“For her to say, ‘I do not have a property anymore,’ that is the truth.”
GB News host Andrew Pierce then insisted on cutting through the detail to argue, “It looks like she dodged tax. She is the biggest enemy of tax dodging.”
“I disagree,” said Ms DaSilva. “The fact of the matter is, she made a purchase, took the advice of an expert, and then followed it.”
It comes after the Deputy PM acknowledged failing to pay sufficient tax on her second home and took the step of referring herself to both the Government's independent ethics adviser and HM Revenue & Customs.
The admission comes amid mounting pressure following media reports alleging she avoided £40,000 in stamp duty payments.
The self-referral to the ethics adviser represents a significant development for Ms Rayner, who now faces scrutiny from multiple official bodies regarding her tax affairs.
The controversy centres on property transactions and tax obligations related to her second home, with the substantial sum of £40,000 in potential stamp duty savings drawing particular attention.
Ms Rayner's decision to proactively involve both HMRC and the Government's ethics adviser suggests an attempt to address the allegations through official channels.
The property arrangements stem from a trust established by a court in 2020 following an award related to Ms Rayner's son, who lives with lifelong disabilities resulting from an injury.
