Angela Rayner's resignation from Government has sparked fresh criticism, as Kevin Hollinrake questioned whether she will receive a "payout".
Announcing her departure today, the ex-Deputy Prime Minister declared she takes "full responsibility for this error" after a flurry of controversy over her tax affairs.
In her resignation letter, Ms Rayner has told the Prime Minister in a letter that "I deeply regret my decision to not seek additional specialist tax advice".
She added: "While the Independent Adviser has concluded that I acted in good faith and with honesty and integrity throughout, I accept that I did not meet the highest standards in relation to my recent property purchase."

Discussing Ms Rayner's departure from her Government roles, Mr Hollinrake told GB News: "Obviously, Angela had no choice, the Independent Adviser found against her.
"We thought she was wrong to wait until the outcome of his report, because it was clear she had breached the rules and breached her moral position."
Highlighting the most "damning" aspect of the scandal, the Conservative Chairman added: "She's taking on other people in a similar situation, so I don't think she had any choice.
"I think the most damning aspect of this, if you look at what the Independent Adviser said, is this only came to light because of intense public scrutiny. It wasn't because Angela Rayner held her hands up to this, so I think she had no choice."

Angela Rayner has resigned as Deputy Prime Minister following the controversy
| GETTYCriticising the Labour Government, Mr Hollinrake made clear that there are "questions to be answered" about future proceedings, and whether the ex-Deputy Prime Minister will "receive a payout".
He stated: "I think it would be a Labour Party in a complete mess, and it leaves questions that need to be answered by Keir Starmer, what he knew and when.
"And really the other question we've got to answer here is, is she going to get a payout, because she has called on other ministers in similar situations not to get one."
Praising the media for pressing on with the scandal and bringing the many revelations of her affairs to light, Mr Hollinrake told GB News: "This has only come to light because of dogged determination by some elements of the media, by our party, and by Kemi."

As host Dawn Neesom highlighted that Ms Rayner "blamed the media for being part of her downfall", Mr Hollinrake quipped: "Gosh, I mean, it's like blaming the weather.
"The media is part of what we do, and sometimes you benefit it from it, other times it holds you to account. And GB News and the Telegraph and other parts of the media have done an excellent job.
"We've been pushing on this since May of this year. Kemi was very keen, she could see that something was wrong here. We've been pushing on this since May and particularly since August when this broke about this third home.
"So really, I don't think any of this would have come to light had that pressure not been applied to Angela Rayner."
