West Midlands Police are institutionally biased towards Muslims. That is my conclusion.
They have been accused of lying about why they banned Jewish Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from coming to Britain to play Aston Villa, of fabricating evidence, and of misleading the Home Affairs Select Committee.
Local Muslim MPs, including Ayub Khan, reportedly urged the ban.
The police claimed Maccabi fans were dangerous hooligans who posed a serious risk. However, what has emerged today suggests the opposite was true.
West Midlands Police knew that it was actually members of the local community who were planning to arm themselves and form vigilante groups. The police did not share this with the public.
Absolutely outrageous. It was the Maccabi fans who needed protection—possibly from these very groups. No more.
But this is perhaps the most damning revelation of all. West Midlands Police have been accused of fabricating evidence to justify banning the Israeli fans, according to records.
They admitted that they initially wanted to ban the fans without any evidence, and when challenged over the decision, they reportedly sought out evidence to retroactively justify the ban. The force also claimed they had consulted Dutch police about the risks posed by Maccabi fans.

There was a huge amount of violent activity, which is why we’ve chosen not to show all the footage. But a “Jew hunt” still occurred in Amsterdam. Dutch police have since stated that West Midlands Police misrepresented the contents of their conversation.
West Midlands Police claimed that 500 to 600 Maccabi fans intentionally targeted Muslim communities in Amsterdam—but Dutch police said there was no evidence to support that. The force also claimed Israeli fans threw innocent members of the public into the river. Dutch police clarified that the only documented case involved a Maccabi fan who was filmed being told he could get out of the river if he said “Free Palestine.”
West Midlands Police further claimed that Maccabi fans were highly organised, skilled fighters with a serious desire to fight. A spokesman for Amsterdam police dismissed the claim linking the fans to the IDF, noting it was meaningless since Israel has a conscription policy.
The force also claimed that 5,000 Dutch police officers had to be deployed for the match, yet Dutch authorities confirmed only 1,200 were present. West Midlands Police are now accused of covering up the truth about their discussions with the Dutch, conveniently leaving no record of what was said.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS

West Midlands Police faced a committee today
West Midlands Police are also accused of consulting local mosques on whether they should ban the Maccabi fans, some of which have allegedly hosted anti-Semitic speakers in the past. The force reportedly failed to disclose that these mosques played a role in the decision to ban the Jewish fans.
What is particularly damning is that West Midlands Police were called before the Home Affairs Select Committee again because the committee believes they did not tell the truth during their first appearance, a serious allegation for any police force.
This appears to amount to a full-scale cover-up of the threat posed by armed individuals within the local community, the fabrication of evidence, and what critics describe as two-tier policing in favour of the Muslim community.
And this is not the first time the force has faced such accusations; similar concerns have been raised previously.
West Midlands Police claimed they had consulted these so-called community leaders, who are often mentioned in reports and briefings.
These “leaders” seem to be everywhere, supposedly requiring constant consultation. In practice, however, it appears the police effectively allowed these groups to police themselves.
t's just absolutely simpering, isn't it? We can even go as far back as 2010. West Midlands Police produced a report on the scale of the Pakistani rape gangs in Birmingham.
They hid that report from the public because they didn't want to stoke racial tensions before the general election.
All of the police chiefs involved in this need to go and if their careers do end in disgrace, I hope that they look themselves in the mirror and they tell themselves that they sacrificed law and order, fairness and ultimately their own jobs, in my opinion, just to try to stay on the right side of the Muslim community.
And then I hope as a society we ask ourselves this why is it that it seems like Muslims in this country are often given special treatment when nobody else is?
