President Trump's migrant border rejects are now flooding Spain in their thousands - and their deluded socialist PM just granted 500,000 of them amnesty to stay forever.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez says regularising half a million illegals is an “act of justice” and compared today’s cohort of migrants to “our grandparents” who emigrated to the US and Europe in search of a better life.
It gives 500k illegals a one-year residence and work permit, which transitions to a standard residence after that.
The IMF says Spain’s ageing population means immigration can only be a positive thing for the country - and it directly links Spain’s recent semi-decent GDP growth to its migration wave.
But don’t mind me if I call Sanchez a civilisational terrorist.
In fact, Sanchez is doing the very thing the US State Department warned of last year when it sent diplomatic cabals to European embassies warning them of civilisational erasure if they didn’t secure their borders.
It’s suggested that around 80 per cent of Spain’s illegals are from Latin America - nations like Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Honduras, Ecuador and Bolivia.
These same people who have been flooding Spain’s borders are predominantly the same people turned away at the US southern border since Trump took power in January 2025.
Zero illegal immigration in the United States since then, by the way. A nation that went from anywhere between ten and 25 million illegals invading their country under Joe Biden to ZERO overnight under Trump.

But back to Spain, PM Sanchez has been justifying his open-border experiment by whipping out the race card.
He said: “Throughout history, migration has been one of the great drivers of the development of nations, while hatred and xenophobia have been - and continue to be - the greatest destroyer of nations.”
What we have here is a delusional do-gooder, telling the Spanish people that because their country has been welcoming and hospitable in the past, and conquered faraway lands in a much different time, that they should smash open their borders willy-nilly right now. And the Spanish should shut up about it or get relegated to the realms of bigotry.
The man is a modern-day Angela Merkel.
It’s also ironic that he calls opposition to open borders “the greatest destroyer of nations.”
Data shows that reported sexual offences in Spain have dramatically increased since virtue-signaller-in-chief Sanchez took power in 2018.
There were around 13,700 recorded sexual offences in Spain the year he won election. That rocketed to 22,800 in 2024 - a 66 per cent increase.
Specifically on rapes, Spain went from 2,744 cases in 2018 to 5,222 in 2024 - a 90 per cent increase. Preliminary figures for 2025 are even higher at 5,363.
So what happened during that time?
Well, Sanchez welcomed around 400,000 illegal migrants into the country by sea and land routes between the time he took power in 2018 and April 2026.
For context, Spain was getting around 14,000 illegals a year in the period prior to him taking power, and as low as 5,000 a year back in 2014 and earlier.
So who’s committing these crimes?
Data shows there were 14,375 people detained for sexual offences in Spain in 2024 - 8,734 (61%) were Spanish nationals and 5,641 (39 per cent) were foreigners.
But when foreigners make up only 17 per cent of Spain’s population, we can see that they are over-represented relative to their share of the population.
By continent, the top perpetrators were from the Americas (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, etc) - the same people President Trump refused entry into the United States, who are now being given a left-wing amnesty to run riot in Spain.
So please, Mr Prime Minister of Spain, spare me the theatrics - the objective lie - that those who care about illegal immigration are the greatest threat to a nation’s existence.
One might suggest that the uncontrolled mass-invasion of a nation and its people, by those who might speak the same language but clearly come from a completely different culture, presents a far greater threat to the future of your land.
This brings me to my final point: words don’t matter anymore. Actions do.
Last week, everybody lost their minds at Trump threatening to wipe out an entire civilisation - before he ended the same Truth social post with ‘long live the Iranian people!’.
I commented at the time that words don’t matter in politics anymore. They mean nothing because everybody just reels out stupid slogans and lies about everything anyway.
Who knows what Trump meant? I don’t know. Does anyone actually care? I don’t. Is it unpresidential by previous standards? Yes. But haven’t we learned by now, after more than a decade of Trump, that he says what he wants, when he wants, and doesn’t always necessarily mean it? He’s not a politician; he doesn’t play by their rules. But shh, don’t tell the virtuous pearl-clutchers that.
Look at Trump telling Kim Jong-un that his nuclear button was bigger than his - and the US button actually worked.
Look at ‘smash the gangs’ from Keir Starmer and Labour. How many gangs have been smashed? The only thing getting smashed right now is England’s southern border.
Words don’t mean anything. Actions do.
That’s why it’s about time people started taking Trump not by his words, but by what he does.
Illegal immigration into the United States is now at zero. Nothing. Nilch. Nada.
The southern border is secure, border patrol are allowed to do their jobs, and the invasion of criminals, rapists and child sex predators has now been stopped.
There’s no ambiguity that’s a good thing Trump delivered. But because he shoots from the hip, says some colourful stuff and winds people up with his behaviour, people fail to see the policy from the persona.
So while President Trump is called a madman (again), a loose cannon and a nut case with no plan on Iran, the do-gooders on the continent in Europe - those who look oh so presidential and play the character perfectly - are saying one thing and doing another.
Pedro Sanchez is talking about preserving a nation, growing economies and keeping out the bad guys like Trump.
What he’s actually doing is the opposite. He’s bringing civilisational erasure and didn’t even respect the Spanish people enough to vote on the 500,000 migrant amnesty in Parliament.
So next time Trump says something to wind up his critics, or leaves even his supporters confused, take a moment to consider what he’s actually done rather than what he’s saying.
For all his bravado, bluster and clumsy language, Trump is trying to preserve Western civilisation. His own state department has been clear about that.
The polished, statesman-like politicians slagging him off across Europe are doing their best, intentionally or not, to destroy it.
Words don’t matter. Action does.
