On what planet is it right or fair to throw yet another £18billion at our £100billion welfare budget to pay for the scammers and the shirkers and have those who do work picking up the tab? But that’s exactly what our idiot chancellor is going to do in her Robin Hood “spite” budget this week.
Unlike Robin Hood, Rachel Reeves won’t be stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. She’ll be stealing from hard-pressed working and middle-class families - and giving their cash to the millions of loafers and liars who think working is an affront to their dignity.
Hell’s teeth, we’ve already got a ballooning welfare budget which doesn’t just pay for the millions who choose not to work but also those who claim to be disabled, but aren’t, who claim to be sick, but aren’t.
We’ve also got millions languishing on benefits because of their “mental elf”. And then there are armies of legal and illegal migrants claiming billions in benefits they’ve done beggar all to earn.
So why does this Government keep pushing the lie that it’s on the side of working people? No, it’s on the side of the shirkers who don’t see the point of working because they know that being on benefits pays more.
And with this Budget, Reeves is fuelling that culture of laziness and greed. Why would you choose to work for five days in a low-paid job if it brings in less than five days sitting at home on your backside watching daytime TV?
Because while I do blame the millions of con artists who choose not to work, I blame this useless Government more for facilitating their laziness.

Reeves is also going to scrap the two-child benefit cap, which won’t just add £3billion to the welfare bill, it also means people who can’t afford to have kids will just keep on having them, safe in the knowledge that this Government and the people who have a job will pay.
And it’s bad enough having to pay for paying for British kids, but we’re also paying for the kids of migrants who come here and bring their huge families with them. Why the Hell should any of us pay for other people’s children?
If you can’t afford them, don’t have them. Sadly, Labour’s motto is “Have as many as you like because the mugs who work will pay."
Sorry, but that’s not fair. And it’s not right. And it’s why this Government shouldn’t be in power because it has no concept of either.
We have a lily-livered Prime Minister and a useless Chancellor who are so terrified of being ousted by the Hard Left that they can’t even think about reforming the burgeoning welfare budget.
The minute they even suggest it, they’re threatened with coups and rebellions, and so, like the useless cowards they are, they cave in and pay benefits to anyone who asks.
Reeves is also going to increase benefit payments by four per cent (who in the private sector gets that kind of increase?), and she’s going to drag nine million more people into paying tax by freezing income tax thresholds for another two years.
So, what happened to her promise not to raise taxes for “working people”? Which is why this Government’s constant cry that it stands behind working people is a sick joke. It spits on working people!
The only people this Government stands square behind are the workshy. We now have generations of people who see benefits as a lifestyle choice when it was never designed for that.
It was supposed to be a safety net, a temporary solution for people who, for whatever reason, had fallen on hard times.
But living on benefits has now become the perverted norm for millions – especially since Covid. It’s become a way of life for whole generations who see it as their God given right not to work and to be paid by the state for that decision.
The idiot Reeves is trying to sell the idea that her welfare splurge is actually a reform of the welfare system! Does the woman think we’re all as stupid as she is? We can all see it’s not a reform.
What we also see is a woman who doesn’t know what she’s doing but is so desperate to cling to her job that she’s willing to bankrupt the country to do it.
If welfare reform is needed, you cut the bloody benefits bill; you don’t keep throwing money at it because how’s that going to entice people back into work?
The Chancellor keeps banging on about the people with the “broadest shoulders” bearing the brunt of her profligacy. But the people she’s going to be punishing in this budget aren’t those with the broadest shoulders – it’s the working and middle classes.
These are the very people currently buckling under her incompetence (and will be even more so after the budget), and they’re sick to the back teeth of paying for her mistakes and because she refuses to cut spending.
It’s a dangerous, incompetent Government that pays millions of people to languish on benefits when the economy is in the toilet.
And that’s why Labour has to go. We need leaders with the guts to tell the shirkers and the pretenders to get off their backsides and get back to work because soft-touch Britain is closed for business!
