I am a British-born Muslim who has converted to Christianity. According to Islam’s murderous strictures, known as sharia, it is a capital offence. And sharia-adherent Muslims very nearly killed me in my British hometown.
This was the culmination of 20 years of Sharia-based terror. My family and I have now lived for 9 years unfree under police protection in an undisclosed location, fearing that every day could be our last.
These daily threats, acts of terror, intimidation and harassment are an affliction for countless millions of people around the world who were born into Islam and are being subjected to its brutal sharia codes and are marked for death if they exercise their basic human right to leave Islam’s murderous grip.
As someone who was born and raised under British freedoms, I have chosen to fight back. I am currently in the United States warning of the perils and dangers of Sharia to both Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
That is because those who follow sharia are obliged by its dictates to impose it on the entire world. And anyone who resists or tries to escape, as I did, faces the same fate.
My warning to Americans is urgent because I see everywhere signs of the steady progress of sharia-supremacism. In state after state – even in Texas – jihadists are aggressively building mosques which serve as everything from arsenals to military training facilities, tribunals for applying sharia legal codes, and social welfare centres.

They are establishing Muslim-only communities and incipient “no-go” zones. And they are demanding political, economic and cultural accommodations that require what amounts to the non-Muslim Americans’ submission.
Take it from one whose own country is now largely lost to Islam’s totalitarian sharia and who understands that, if America falls as well, the Western civilisation of which I am proud to be a part will be doomed, later if not sooner.
Therefore, it is very heartening to see what is happening at the moment in Texas. The governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and a growing number of others in the legislature, pulpits, and communities across the state are working to ban sharia in their state.
And voters in Texas will soon have an opportunity to express their support for doing so in the Republican primary on March 3rd by approving, hopefully overwhelmingly, a five-word Proposition 10: “Texas should prohibit sharia law.”
I am sharing a very simple message with those in that state and across the United States: Learn from our example in Great Britain. Learn from the extent to which our elites have sold us out to the jihadists and their supporters. Learn from the effects of such submission on our freedoms of speech, freedom of assembly, and especially our freedom of religion.
In fact, when I sought help from four Bradford bishops for my efforts to survive the jihadists’ efforts to silence me, not one of them was willing to stand for Christendom in support of an individual who has risked everything to follow him. Not only that, Justin Welby (former archbishop) had dismissed with contempt 15 months prior to the brutal attack on me.
The British State/police, with few exceptions, have been no better because of their fear of being labelled Islamophobic, which you will no doubt recall is their excuse for doing nothing to protect rape gang victims. They blamed me for threatening the peace, simply because of my presence.
Incident after incident, the police did not investigate, arrest, or prosecute the perpetrators of multiple crimes against me and my property.
This failure further incites sharia-adherent Muslim perpetrators to initiate acts of violence against me and others in Britain.
America must ban sharia now, before such toxic behaviour becomes the norm here, and while it still can.
