Invictus is sacred; Harry can attend under standard protocols with proper notice. What is utterly indefensible is bending over backwards for Meghan — a woman whose conduct is so widely viewed as contemptuous toward the late Queen and the country she served with unmatched grace.
Britain has real priorities that need attention: securing borders, protecting citizens, keeping the light and heating on — not grovelling to a couple of deluded narcissists who turned their backs on Britain, trashed it for profit, and now want Britons to foot the bill for their comeback tour.
Polling, rankings, and the raw fury online all scream the same truth: Meghan Markle is emphatically not welcome on these terms. Harry abandoned the public purse by choice — he gets no second helpings.
If the Sussexes fancy importing their Montecito circus back to British soil, they're free to try — entirely on their own dime, their own risk, their own security.
