It's House of Lords time. And guess what? 25 Labour peers have been appointed, five Liberal Democrats, and three Conservatives. But I wonder, is Keir Starmer being a hypocrite?
Labour MP Alison McGovern is right in one regard, if a Government has been elected on a manifesto, it is not for the House of Lords to obstruct it.
It's called the Salisbury convention. It's been in place for well over a century, but in this case, where the House of Lords is delaying legislation, asking questions, these are all areas that were not in the Labour manifesto.
So I don't think the constitutional argument she puts up, though it could be correct, but in this circumstance, it's not. And guess what? I wonder how many peers Reform got? Absolutely none.

Well, I think it's pretty appalling.
