A GB News poll shows the public believe Ant and Dec are right to mock Boris Johnson over the Downing Street Christmas party allegations.
On an episode of ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, the popular Geordie duo - who have already made fun of the Prime Minister on a number of occasions - referenced the allegations, saying that the show’s contestants “categorically deny” any suggestion they had a party in the Welsh castle.
While introducing the next segment, Donnelly said: “It is all changing in camp now because yesterday the celebs chose a new leader via the gift of a secret vote.”
McPartlin continued: “And that means David’s reign is over. But they weren’t celebrating. They categorically deny any suggestions that they had a party.
“And this fictional party definitely didn’t involve cheese and wine, or a Secret Santa.”
Donnelly then looked directly into the camera and said: “Evening Prime Minister… for now.”
In a poll posted on the GB News Twitter feed - posing the question whether it was right for Ant and Dec to poke fun at Boris Johnson - more than five thousand people voted with the majority showing support of the presenters.
Over 75% of the voters said Ant and Dec should be mocking the Prime Minister, with 24.7% saying it's wrong for them to do so.
