Ukrainian drones have eviscerated a Russian warship in a devastating kamikaze attack.
Kyiv’s defence ministry shared footage of the attack against Vladimir Putin’s Black Sea Fleet.
It claimed to have destroyed a supersonic missile-armed corvette yesterday.
Ukraine's Air Force commander Mykola Oleshchuk also thanked Ukraine's military for carrying out the operation.

He said: “Ukrainian aviators will definitely return to their home airfield.”
Ukraine’s post about the strikes described the moment as “shipwreck of the day”.
It added: “Warriors of the special unit ‘Group 13’ of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine destroyed the missile corvette ‘Ivanovets’ of the russian Black Sea Fleet.
“As a result of a number of direct hits to the hull, the corvette was damaged, rolled to the stern, and sank.

“The value of the ship is approximately $60–70million. Nice job, warriors!”
The small warship is allegedly equipped with anti-ship missiles with a range of more than 80 miles.
Kyiv's navy estimates that up to 40 crew members could have been aboard the ship when it was destroyed.
The Kremlin claimed Ukraine fired at least 20 miles at various targets around Crimea on Wednesday.

However, Russia is confident it shot down all missiles launched.
Moscow also claimed no damage was inflicted on Russian aircraft stationed in Crimea.
The average daily number of Russian casualties in Ukraine has risen by almost 300 during the course of 2023, the UK's Ministry of Defence has claimed.
If the numbers continue at the current rate over the next year, Russia will have lost over half a million personnel in Ukraine.
