Israel confirms when hostages will be released without 'any sick displays by Hamas'

Israeli Government spokesman Shosh Bedrosian has confirmed when the remaining hostages will be released by Hamas.
She said the hostages will be released "early Monday morning" and "are expecting all 20 of our living hostages to be released together at one time to the Red Cross".
The hostages will be taken in "six to eight" vehicles without "any sick displays by Hamas".
They will be driven to forces inside the Israeli-controlled parts of Gaza, before being transferred to Southern Israel.
The spokesman added: "Israel is ready if a living hostage requires any urgent medical attention, they will be brought to a medical facility immediately."
She confirmed that the bodies of the 28 deceased hostages will be released after the living hostages.
Once all of the hostages have been received, the Palestinian prisoners will follow to complete the exchange.
The spokesman said: "What we're saying right now is that the Palestinian prisoners will be released once Israel has confirmation that all of our hostages... cross the border into Israel.

"And once we have that confirmation, we are expecting that the prisoners will already be on the buses. Once the confirmation comes through, they have crossed into Israeli territory, those buses will start [to go]."
For the hostages who were killed in captivity, she said the "entire nation of Israel" will embrace them and "ensure proper Jewish burials".
Some 250 convicted Palestinians and 1,700 detained since the October 7 attacks will be returned to Gaza.

The deal gave Hamas 72 hours to release the hostages, up until 10am UK time tomorrow morning.
Hamas terrorists massacred some 1,200 people on October 7, 2023, and 251 people were taken hostage back to Gaza, which triggered the war, which has lasted over two years.
A large part of Israel's offensive occurred in the northern stretch of Gaza, which has seen thousands of Palestinians returning today.

Images show normal life starting to resume in the city, with a street market set up, despite the destruction surrounding them.
Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson said the UK played a "key role" in securing a ceasefire in the UK, praising Sir Keir Starmer's efforts.
Mr Netanyahu's deputy foreign minister, Sharren Haskel, said she would "have to contradict" the Education Secretary's claims.
