Late Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was killed by poisoning, his widow has said.
Yulia Navalnaya revealed that biological samples had been smuggled out of the Arctic penal colony where he was serving his prison sentence when he died in suspicious circumstances last year.
In a video on social media, she has said that foreign laboratories had carried out tests of the samples "independently of each other" and both "reached the same conclusion".
Mrs Navalnaya said the tests proved "Alexei was killed. More specifically, he was poisoned".

Although she did not go into detail about the tests or the supposed poison used, she did challenge the laboratories to "publish their results".
Mr Navalny was Russia's fiercest opposition leader and an anti-corruption campaigner who died in jail February 16 2024 at the age of 47.
At the time of his death, he had been imprisoned for three years and had only recently been transferred to a penal colony north of the Arctic Circle.
In the video, Mrs Navalnaya said: "Alexei was my husband. He was my friend. He was a symbol of hope for our country.

"Putin killed that hope. We have the right to know how he did it.
"Stop pandering to Putin on account of so-called higher considerations. While you remain silent, he does not stop."
Supporters of Navalny have long warned that Moscow had a role to play in the campaigner's death.
The federal prison service in Russia, however, said he fell unwell after a walk - and his mother Lyudmila was told her son had suffered from "sudden death syndrome".

State investigators later said he died from a medical condition and arrythmia.
His funeral in Moscow drew large crowds, despite warnings from authorities that people should not attend.
When asked about the revelations on Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: "I don't know anything about these statements of hers, and I can't say anything."
In 2021, Mr Navalny voluntarily returned to Russia from Germany where he had been receiving treatment for what Western tests showed was an attempted nerve agent poisoning.

He was arrested on arrival into the country and charged with fraud, extremism and other charges which he claimed were exaggerated in order to silence him.
Mrs Navalnaya also faces prison if she ever returns to Russia, and currently lives abroad, as do her two children.
Many of Mr Navalny's previous colleagues have either been jailed or have fled the country.
