Police discover body amid search for missing woman, 25, after her car found near beauty spot

A body has been discovered in the search for missing woman Molly Ann Garbutt, whose car was last seen at a popular beauty spot.
Garbutt, 25, from Leeds, was reported missing from her home, with officers from North Yorkshire police later finding her Renault Clio.
The vehicle was found on the morning of April 3 parked off the B6265 near Dibbles Bridge at Hebden.
The force launched an urgent appeal for information after the car was spotted.

Searches were then carried out in the nearby area to try and find the missing young woman.
RAF Mountain Rescue, the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association and an HM Coastguard helicopter all supported in the search for the 25-year-old.
Officers then called off the search for Garbutt after her body was thought to have been discovered at around 3.15pm later that day.
Whilst the body has not been formally identified, her family has been informed.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “While formal identification has not yet taken place, Molly's family have been informed about the death and they are being supported by the police.
“We ask that their privacy is respected at this difficult time as we prepare a report for the coroner.
“Anyone with information that could assist should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 4, and speak to the Force Control Room.”

The force has said there are no suspicious circumstances around the death.
