A woman was arrested after a police chase over a golf course in Florida on Tuesday
Video shared on social media by the Indian River County Sheriff Office showed the woman driving over fairways on the Grand Harbor course in Vero Beach before her vehicle was rammed by a police SUV and brought to a stop after hitting another police vehicle.
She climbed out of her car with her hands in the air before attempting to use her mobile phone. Officers forced her to the ground and handcuffed her before dragging her away, watched by a passing golfer on a buggy.
The incident started in the Waterford Lakes community of Vero Beach, where the officers attempted to pull her over but she drove away, according to the Indian River County Sheriff's Office Facebook post.
The woman now faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, driving under the influence of drink or drugs, two felony counts of criminal mischief, aggravated flee/elude and aggravated assault on an officer.
