A trans woman accused of exposure in an American changing room was convicted of assaulting his ex-wife when he lived as a man.
Alexis Black, formerly Grant Freeman, allegedly walked naked in a women's changing room at a gym in Beverley Hills, Los Angeles. Black denies all the accusations.
Singer Tish Hyman confronted Black about the encounter - and has since said her membership to the gym has been revoked.
Court documents have now revealed that in 2022, Black pleaded guilty to beating then-wife Alexis Freeman, causing a compound fracture in her jaw which needed surgery among other injuries.
Black also took his ex-wife's name, Alexis, during his transition.
Records show that as well as domestic violence, in the past Black has been convicted of drug trafficking, resisting arrest and other charges.
Ms Hyman confronted Black in the changing rooms at Gold's Gym.
Speaking after the incident, Ms Hyman said: "Golds Gym terminated my membership after the man was escorted out by police.

"[They] then had me escorted out by officers afterwards. It was embarrassing. I left but not before making sure everyone knew that they were allowing men in the locker room."
She added: "Today he saw me walk into the women's room, followed me in and called me a b***h. I ran out into the locker room crying and screaming."
Black insists everything was fully covered at all times - and said using a male-only changing room would be "victimising".

They said: "You're not going to put a trans woman with a trans man just because we're trans. That seems like a whole new envelope of discrimination."
Black insisted they were female - and said it was not their responsibility to cater to other people's needs.
Footage of the dispute inside the gym has gone viral online.
It appeared to show Ms Hyman referencing complaints she had made against Black in the past.
She said: "We already filed reports. You can't get rid of me for this.
"I'm a woman and I have every right not to want a man in the restroom when I'm naked. There are naked girls in there."
California has a state law allowing people to use the bathroom or changing room which best fits their "gender identity".
