Protesters have clashed with US officials in Minneapolis after a mother-of-three was shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) agent.
A US Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman said 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good was shot when she tried to "weaponise" her vehicle and attempted to run over an officer in her car.
State and federal officials have offered starkly different accounts of the shooting.
The incident has left the city of Minneapolis on edge, with thousands having taken to the streets in protest.

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered this morning at a federal building where an immigration court is house, chanting "shame" and "murder" at armed and masked officers.
Some federal officers used tear gas and pepper spray on protesters.
Demonstrations were also ongoing or planned in other cities, including New York, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
Minneapolis public schools were closed today and will also be shut tomorrow as a precautionary measure.

Ms Good's death - which occurred just a few streets from where George Floyd died - has provoked a serious political firestorm, including from Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.
He told Ice officers to "get the f*** out" of the US city, making reference to a video of the incident circulating online.
"They are already trying to spin this as an action of self-defence," he said.
"Having seen the video myself, I want to tell everybody directly, that is bull****."

Vice President JD Vance however said in a press briefing today that the Ice agent had "defended himself" from Ms Good who "rammed" the officer with her car.
He said: "She was trying to ram this guy with her car.
"He shot back, he defended himself, he has already been seriously wounded in law enforcement operations before."
The Vice President claimed Ms Good had been part of a "broader left wing network" which aimed to "make it impossible for Ice officers to do their job".

|Ice is the federal US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency responsible for homeland security investigations.
It also carries out removal operations against illegal migrants.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has said it had initially agreed with the FBI to conduct a joint investigation into the shooting, but that the federal agency had "reversed course" and taken sole control of the probe.
The decision, according to the BCA's superintendent, Drew Evans, means the state bureau will no longer have access to the scene evidence, case materials or interviews.
"As a result, the BCA has reluctantly withdrawn from the investigation," Mr Evans said.
Keith Ellison, the state's Democratic attorney general, told CNN that the FBI's decision was "deeply disturbing" and said state authorities could investigate with or without the cooperation of the federal government.
