An anti-Israeli protester has burnt a US flag after accusing Joe Biden of “genocide”.

A Stars and Stripes ensign was destroyed outside of New York’s City Hall as thousands of demonstrators gathered to voice opposition to the 46th President’s support for Israel.

The protest came just two weeks after Hamas committed a brutal terrorist attack.

The October 7 onslaught claimed the lives of more than 1,400 Israelis and resulted in around 200 people being taken hostage.

Around 3,000 protesters gathered near Wall Street chanting “genocide Joe has got to go” and “Eric Adams, you can't hide, you support genocide”.

Activists burnt both the Israeli flag carrying the Star of David and Stars and Stripes as they chanted songs supporting the plight of the Palestinians.

Protesters also voiced annoyance at US weapons manufacturers providing arms for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israel’s airstrikes against Gaza have resulted in as many as 7,300 deaths, the Hamas-run Health Ministry has claimed.

Within Our Lifetime, led by Palestinians and advocating for the cause since 2015, organised the rally in the Big Apple.

The group distributed stickers and sheets at 3pm, started what they called “teach-in” at 4pm, and commenced the rally at 5.30pm.

A demonstrator told CBS: “I am a Muslim, and I support my Palestinian brothers and everything that's going on in the world right now.”
