People's Channel now available globally on brilliant new streaming platform

GB News has today embarked on an exciting new venture in the US after launching onto Truth+.

The sister platform to Truth Social announced today that it has added the People's Channel to Truth+, a TV streaming platform focusing on family-friendly live TV channels and on-demand content.

Offered with the free basic package, GB News will be available in most countries worldwide via the Truth+ apps for iOS and Android devices, on the web, and on Truth+ apps for Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire, and Roku connected TVs.

The American company's chairman Devin Nunes said: "We welcome our good friends from across the pond, GB News, to the Truth+ platform.

"GB News is a terrific source for news, facts, and commentary.

"By expanding its global reach, we aim to connect an enormous new, international audience to the network's unique reporting and opinion, while putting another dent in the global woke news monopoly. Welcome to Truth, GB News!"

GB News CEO, Angelos Frangopoulos, also said: "As the fearless champion of freedom of speech in Britain, it is important that we launch across the United States of America and globally on the Truth+ streaming platform.

"We are bringing to the world the real story of what is happening in the United Kingdom and celebrating her heritage, values and potential."

GB News's move into Truth+ comes after official figures revealed it is now Britain's number one news channel.

The People's Channel triumphed across key time slots in July, winning the ratings race across Breakfast, mornings, weekday prime-time, and the coveted Sunday morning political slot.

It marks the first time the BBC News Channel has been overtaken by GB News for an entire month, a landmark achievement which comes just a month after GB News’ celebrated its fourth birthday.

The results are drawn from the industry’s official BARB ratings, which track total share and average views.

They also show how, in July, Sky News ranked a distant third behind the two frontrunners, GB News and BBC News.
