European arrest warrants for the Tate brothers were issued by the UK over allegations which include sexual aggression

Eamonn Holmes has taken aim at Andrew Tate after the controversial influencer was detained in Romania alongside his brother, Tristan.

European arrest warrants were issued by the UK over allegations which include sexual aggression.

The Tate brothers “categorically reject all charges”, a statement by Andrew’s representative said.

Speaking on GB News, Eamonn said the brothers are “missing a lot” by living life in the manner that they are.

He claims Andrew Tate fails to respect women and instead seeks to position himself in a “dominant” position.

“It’s not what I would see as alpha male”, he said.

“I adore women. I couldn’t imagine my life without women. My life would be very dull and boring if there were no women.

“I’m not sure I even see women as women sometimes.

“I think any young man who would think of being dominant or superior over a woman and think that’s important, they’re missing a lot, 100 per cent.”

Political commentator Alex Armstrong said Andrew Tate’s popularity is owed to a general problem with young men, arguing they “feel detached from society far more than they ever have”.

He said Tate is “manipulating them and telling them the reason why they feel detached is the mainstream”.

“It’s this conspiracy here and he’s getting into their brains, because there isn’t a counter argument being put forward”, he added.

Eamonn’s co-host Isabel Webster said Tate is a perfect example of why young children should not be allowed on social media until they show a level of maturity.

“It’s another opportunity to beat the drum that I’m going to continue to beat on this platform”, she said.

“Don’t let your sons or indeed your daughters anyway near social media until they’re maturing here.”

Tate was arrested in Romania on 29 December 2022 along with his brother on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group.

A Romanian court ruled the following day that Tate would remain in custody for 30 days.

After multiple extensions, he was released from jail on March 31 and placed under house arrest.

He has amassed a huge following on social media platforms, but was banned from Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.

Fan channels filled in the gaps by posting videos of the influencer that reach millions of views.
