Today:
Rain, heavy in places with a risk of thunder across central areas continuing north, followed by sunny spells and a few heavy showers. Fine end to the day across many central and southern areas. Warm in the sunshine.

Tonight:
Most places becoming dry with clear periods and patchy mist later. Low cloud and rain or drizzle in far north. Cloud, occasional rain and stronger winds into far west later.
Heavy rain will spread from the west later in the week.

Tuesday:
Dry and very warm in sunny spells across many central and eastern parts. Cloudier in the west with rain turning heavy, edging into central parts into the evening.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Dry and sunny much of Wednesday before heavy rain spreads from the west and south later. This clears early Thursday leaving behind sunny spells, before further rain in places Friday.
