Sunny spells for many, especially in the south and east with southern England seeing the best of the sunshine. Also some showery rain over parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, northwest England and, later, Wales. Windy in the north.
Tonight:
Rather cloudy across parts of England and Wales, with fog patches forming over parts of Wales and the Midlands in particular later. Clearer further north with some showers and frost.
Friday:
A chilly start with early fog patches over England and Wales soon clearing leaving a fine day with plenty of pleasantly warm sunshine for most. Turning windier in the north

Mostly settled, dry and sunny, with some early frost and mist/fog patches but warm by day. Showers and areas of rain moving erratically northwards Sunday and Monday, subduing temperatures somewhat.
