Showers and winds in the far northeast easing, then turning clear and chilly for a time. Cloud, rain and drizzle in the west moving eastwards later.

Wednesday

Cloudy for many with some patchy light rain and drizzle moving eastwards, then some heavier rain in the far northwest later. Brighter across the south. Mild and breezy.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday

Squally rain sweeping southeast Thursday, with sunshine and wintry showers to follow. Milder at first over the weekend but with more squally rain and showers following later. Windy throughout.
