An Afghan man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after one man was killed in a three-person stabbing in London.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the nationality of the man arrested for the stabbings in Uxbridge after sources on the force informed GB News previously.


The force arrested a man after three people were stabbed, one fatally, on Monday, October 27.

Police were called at 5pm to Midhurst Gardens, Uxbridge, following reports that three people had been stabbed.

A 49-year-old man was treated at the scene for stab wounds but would sadly succumb to his injuries.

A 45-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were also treated at the scene for stab wounds before they were taken to hospital.

The man’s injuries were confirmed to be life-changing, but not life-threatening. The 14-year-olds were confirmed to be neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

The deceased’s next-of-kin have been informed and are currently being supported by specially-trained officers.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

He was also taken to the hospital as a precaution after officers subdued him with a taser.

It was then determined that he was not injured and has now been taken into police custody.

The police have now launched an investigation.

Chief Superintendent Jill Horsfall said: “This was a shocking and senseless act of violence that has left one man dead and two others injured.

“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this unimaginably difficult time.

“The incident will have understandably caused concern to the local community. I have deployed multiple officers to the local area, they will be here throughout the week to provide reassurance while detectives work intensely to piece together the circumstances.

“I understand that there has been a lot of speculation online following on from this incident. We ask that you rely on us for information, and that you do not share sensitive footage.

“If anyone saw or has any information about the incident, then please come forward to police. We appreciate any information that you may have.

“There will be a crime scene and a heavy police presence within the area over the next few days, I thank residents for their patience," she said.

Government sources informed GB News that the Afghan man arrested in connection with the stabbings is not a small boat migrant.

Speaking to The People's Channel, eyewitness Paul O'Brien described seeing the "unbelievable" fatal stabbing on Midhurst Gardens.

Speaking to GB News Home and Security Editor Mark White, Mr O'Brien said: "I was coming back just from the local shops and I see some people running from this direction of the scene towards me in a bit of a panic.

"So I then come around to the road where I could just hear commotion, I could hear many sirens and just felt something was off."

He added: "Two police cars sped down the road, jumped out, and then someone there was shouting at them to drop their weapon.

"The guy had his arms up, but he was walking backwards sort of towards me with his back towards me and didn't drop his weapon."
