A man who died after falling from a hot air balloon told work colleagues he "hated heights" and would never go in one.
Jesus Lato Garzon, 33, is thought to have intentionally jumped out at 9.20am on September 19 near Newpound Common in West Sussex.
The 33-year-old Spanish national had been working as a room service attendant at The Grove Hotel, a luxury five-star spa and golf resort in Hertfordshire, before quitting in the middle of a shift earlier this month.
Mr Garzon had bought a ticket on the Virgin Balloons Flight and boarded the ride with 15 other passengers.

His remains were recovered in a field following an extensive search by police officers, dogs and drones.
The pilot and passengers onboard when the incident occurred have been described as being left "traumatised".
One former colleague told Mail Online that the 33-year-old enjoyed keeping active, but was a very private individual.
Another employee from The Grove revealed that he had previously discussed the topic of hot air balloons with the Spaniard, where he said he would never attempt the ride.

|The unnamed employee said: “He was a nice guy, I used to chat and joke with him.
“I find it strange, though, that he went up in a hot air balloon. Last summer, hot air balloon trips were offered by the hotel to guests and then later staff.
"He mentioned that I might go for it but Jesus shook his head and told me ‘you’ll never get me in one of those - I don’t like heights!
"It’s really sad, he was well-liked here."

The hot air balloon was travelling between Billinghurst in West Sussex to Dunsfold, Surrey.
Detective Sergeant Elaine Keating said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts go to the family of the man and everyone on the flight.
"We are offering them specialist support at this time.
“The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and we are completing an investigation on behalf of the coroner.”
Virgin Balloon Flights said: “Our thoughts are first and foremost with the individual’s family at this incredibly difficult time.
"We are also deeply mindful of the experience of all passengers involved, and their wellbeing and peace of mind remain a priority.“
"We kindly ask that privacy is respected, as the welfare and safety of our passengers and the public is always our utmost concern.
