Two women have died following an incident at Wales' largest national park.
Police confirmed the women died in Nant Gwynant, in Eryri National Park, also known as Snowdonia, on Wednesday night.
Officers were called to the scene at just gone 9.30pm, following reports of a female being pulled from the water, with another woman reported to be in the water at the pools on Watkin Path.
She was pulled from the water, but was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team were dispatched to the area along with North Wales Police, the Air Ambulance and the Coastguard Rescue Helicopter.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Gibson of North Wales Police said: "Our thoughts and sympathies remain with the families and friends of both women.
"An investigation to establish what happened is now underway.
"We are appealing for anyone who may have been walking in or around the Watkin Path area between 6pm and 9pm last night, they are urged to contact us via the website or by calling 101 quoting reference number 25000480868."

Yesterday, the weather in Snowdonia peaked at 23C with further warm conditions on the way.
Thunderstorms are due to strike large parts of Wales with hail and gusty winds, according to the Met Office.
Those journeying on the mountains are also warned of strong sunlight and poor visibility.
Met Office Chief Meteorologist Neil Armstrong said: "A weather system will push northwards through tomorrow, bringing heavy rain and a risk of thunderstorms to parts of southwest England, most of Wales, and later into Northern Ireland.

"Some 40mm of rain could fall in three hours or less, leading to the potential for disruption.
"Further thunderstorms will develop during the afternoon across England and Wales, moving quickly northwards with hail and lightning.
"Temperatures will remain high, with 26 or 27C possible again in the north Midlands and parts of north London."
