A body has been found in the search for missing woman Rachel Booth, police have confirmed.

The mother-of-three was reported missing by her family from the Barnton area of Northwich, Cheshire, on Saturday, July 19.

Booth, aged 38, was captured on CCTV going into a petrol station in Sandiway at 3.50am.

Police have now confirmed a body has been recovered from a lake in the village of Oakmere, Northwich.

Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, it is believed to be that of Booth.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner", Cheshire Police said.

Her family are said to be receiving support from specialist officers and have requested privacy at this time.

Police have been carrying out searches at Delamere Lake holiday park, near Oakmere, since the weekend.
