A petition to vote on Boris Johnson’s resignation has passed 10,000 votes from Conservative members.
The PM resigned as Conservative Party leader earlier this month following pressure amid the Chris Pincher row.
But now a petition is calling for Tory members to vote on whether Mr Johnson’s resignation should be accepted.

It has been organised by Tory peer Lord Cruddas and former MEP David Campbell-Bannerman.
Lord Cruddas said: “The ousting of Boris Johnson as Prime Minister by a minority of MPs is deeply anti-democratic.
“It defies the will of the country and the Conservative Party members who elected him.
“It amounts to a coup. I am ashamed this can happen in Britain, the birthplace of modern democracy,” he told the Daily Mail.
The race to become the next Tory leader has been whittled down to two candidates – Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss.
The new leader will be announced on September 5 and is expected to become prime minister the following day.
Mr Johnson will the next day formally tender his resignation to the Queen before his successor takes over in Downing Street.
