An angry pensioner had his mobility scooter taken by police after he lashed out at man who bought the last pasty from a bakery.
The elderly man angrily waved his walking stick around as he sped down the street, beginning his rampage.
He sped past the bakery following the man who took the last of the baked goods, as the man walked away from him.
Another man intervened to try and calm the pasty-loving pensioner; however he was rammed into by the elderly man’s mobility scooter.

He fell against a shop’s window, before tripping over a sign, falling to the floor, as a passer-by shouted: “You just knocked him over!”
Various passers-by tried to help calm the situation but to no avail.
A woman tried to grab the pensioner’s cane from him but he held on tight. She later went and helped the man off of the floor and the pair walked away from the elderly man, shaking their heads in shame.
Another gentleman tried to then take the walking stick off the vexed man, however his attempts were also not successful.

Police quickly arrived at the scene and were later pictured driving the scooter away.
Bideford Police said: “We attended an incident early today which led to us seizing a mobility scooter which one of our officers then had to ride back to the station!
“We have identified the owner but all other parties had already left prior to our arrival.
“We don’t currently have any victims that have come forward to us.”

Oak Leigh, who filmed the bust-up, said the hungry pensioner “took out his anger” on a few people.
“They were arguing because he had the last pasty from the bakery and bumped into him,” she said to the Metro.
Bideford Police joked that even though they now had a mobility scooter in their possession, they would not be launching patrols.
A post on Bideford Police's Facebook page said: “Residents of Bideford may have seen this slightly unusual sight today! And while we are an equal opportunity employer, no, we currently don’t have any plans to launch mobility scooter patrols."
