A woman has slammed a beachside council after receiving a parking ticket for leaving her car next to a yellow line.
However, Rebecca Tidy claims the line was hidden underneath overgrown hedging.
The woman posted photos of her car parked next to the hedging on X, saying "Hey Cornwall Council. You don't deserve visitors!"
"I just got a parking ticket for not realising that there was a single yellow line underneath this overgrown hedging," Tidy said in her post.
Of the more than one thousand comments left on the pot, one user replied, saying "I hope you have appealed".
"Sadly, this is becoming far too common, cash-strapped councils neglecting their duties and forcing the cash-cow tourist to help subsidise their policies that have led to their demise," the user added.
Tiddy replied that she was "going to fill out the appeal for today (Saturday)".
"I got a puncture from a pothole in Cornwall last Monday too," she said.

"So I'm not thrilled at the state of the roads."
Another user echoed the recommendation, saying "appeal that".
Tidy again responded that she was "going to try".
However, she admitted that "I'm not convinced I'll be successful".

A further user on X said the "photo is enough to dispute the ticket".
"No clear signage so they cannot enforce it," they said.
"Just dispute it and they will tear it up."
However, not all users were in support of Tidy.
One replied to her post, saying "surely the narrow roads must offer a clue".
It prompted a response by Tidy who said "nah, it's not narrow there at all".
"I'm pretty careful with where I park."
Another was more critical, saying "the enforcement officer is only doing his job".
"Perhaps next time you'll think twice before disobeying parking rules and regulations."
The comment only received four laughing emojis back from Tidy.
Cornwall Council has been contacted for comment.
