Two GB News guests became embroiled in a heated row as they debated the success of multiculturalism in Britain.

The debate culminated in Tory Buckinghamshire councillor David Moore and left-wing commentator Martin Abrams shouting over one another and were subsequently engulfed in "class-based warfare".

Giving his verdict on multiculturalism in the UK, Mr Abrams said: "Multiculturalism is about coexistence. It's about mutual respect. It's about shared belonging.

"London is a really, really good example of a multicultural city where co-existence works," he added.

Patrick interrupted: "Martin, do you think that was a vibrant display of multiculturalism. Was it for you?

"It was a vibrant display of anti-fascist resistance, which has a long, rich history in the East End of London," the commentator fired back.

"You need to look into your history, Patrick."

Invited into the debate by the presenter, Mr Moore weighed in, arguing: "I think the biggest irony was during that March we saw literal armies of militia of young men, masked men marching through, and there was a small liberal white middle-class protest saying, 'we're in support of you'.

"And they literally pushed them out away and said, 'No, you're not'."

Mr Moore further condemned the columns of masked Muslim men exhibiting "extreme views" about women as well as other issues.

He declared it a "huge problem in the country", blasting that "there have been so many other ramifications of multiculturalism".

He continued: "Frankly, I think, Martin, you need to get out of your middle, middle-class, liberal neighbourhood and actually get real.

"This country is dying. It's sectarianism gone mad. And multiculturalism, in my view, has failed."

At this point, Mr Abrams interjected, questioning: "What class are you?"

Slightly taken aback, Mr Moore responded: "Frankly, that's irrelevant. The country is dying, Martin, and we need to save it."

Nevertheless, Mr Abrams repeated his question, to which Mr Moore reiterated that "class is irrelevant here".

"No, it's not," the left-wing commentator scoffed. "You've just accused me of being middle-class. What class are you?"

"You believe in class-based warfare?" Mr Moore hit back.

The fiery back-and-forth followed a discussion on the recent counter-protest against a Ukip demonstration in central London over the weekend.

A group of masked Muslim protesters descended on Whitehall to "stand firm" and show that they were "ready to defend our community" as a counter-protest.

Donning black clothing and balaclavas, the group brandished Palestinian and Bangladeshi flags as they marched down Whitehall.

The columns of masked Muslim men could be seen chanting "Allahu Akbar" in London as hordes of men marched along the way.
