The fathers of two victims from the 2023 Nottingham attacks have warned Britain could “sleepwalk into a state of absolute terror”.
Dr Sanjoy Kumar and David Webber issued the warning as they discussed their ongoing quest to expose apparent failings in the handling of triple killer Valdo Calocane.
Students Barnaby Webber and Grace O'Malley-Kumar, both 19, and Ian Coates, 65, were killed after being stabbed to death by Calocane in June 2023.
Their bereaved fathers spoke to The People’s Channel after the inquiry into the incident heard todat that Calocane "lied, he deceived, he out-manoeuvred medical staff in particular, on the ward and in the community. He wasn't honest“
Today was a watershed moment,” Dr Kumar, the father of Grace, told GB News.
“We are straight from the inquiry, and we had a care coordinator who admitted and vindicated us because he said that they were failures all the way across (the system).
“They failed at every level. The care coordinators didn't know what to do. The consultants didn't know what to do,” he said.
“To add a huge amount of petrol to the fire, he (the care coordinator) turned around and used the words cover up, and he turned around and used the words dereliction of duty.

“Calocane was extremely manipulative. He knew exactly what he was doing. And he practically, as far as I'm concerned, planned this."
Mr Webber, father of Barnaby Webber, said it had been “one of those days where you hear what you didn't think you'd hear... but it came over loud and clear”.
He said: “I'm just slightly gobsmacked that what I heard today came across that way. It feels like the stuff of movies. That kind of comment the guy made this afternoon. I've never heard anything like it.
“But it's not a movie... it's your lives,” Martin added soberly.

“It’s quite scary, and I feel very worried for our children,” Mr Webber continued.
“We've paid the ultimate price, but more people will be paying the ultimate price if they don't start getting a grip on this."
Dr Kumar agreed, adding: “If people are not held responsible, we are going to sleepwalk into a state of absolute terror at home.
“Regardless of whatever geopolitics is happening and occurring around us, can we concentrate on things at home? Yeah, that's what it's about.
