GB News presenter Nigel Farage has shared his thoughts on Burnley's elected candidate Aurangzeb Ali, after the local community celebrated his win in a controversial way.
In a viral video posted to social media, the community can be seen riding horseback, wearing traditional religious clothing and playing the drums.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Nigel reposted the video and stated: "This is the English town of Burnley in 2024. Is this the country we want?"

Earlier this week he spoke about the video on his GB News show, Nigel warned of the rise in "sectarian politics" amid the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict and underlying agenda on Gaza in the election.

Nigel fumed: "Just watch this in Burnley, please. Well, what can you say?"
"This is our country in 2024. This is the diversity agenda."
Hitting out at Lord and Labour MP Peter Mandelson, Nigel asked: "Is this what you intended Peter Mandelson?
"You said you wanted to open up, you wanted to change the country. Well, you did it with mass immigration."

Responding to Nigel's post on social media, British voters were outraged by the video from Burnley.

One X user said: "Makes no difference if we want it.. it's happening, and nobody is doing anything about it. Our national identity is being eroded very quickly."
Another user responded to the video: "I genuinely thought I was looking at Iraq or Afghanistan for a moment there."
Others came to the defence of Ali, telling Nigel: "Mr Farage, this isn’t a new thing in the North. The North did send multiple warnings. It’s just London didn’t listen."

Speaking on his GB News show, Nigel concluded: "Is sectarian politics here to stay? I believe that it is.
"I believe that at the time of the 2029 general election, given the population explosion that is going on within those communities, it will be a significant factor.
"Ultimately, it will hurt Labour far more than it will hurt the Conservative Party."
