A friend of Nicola Bulley says her young daughters are “desperate” for her to come home as an investigation into the whereabouts of the 45-year-old continues.
Nicola vanished 12 days ago while walking her dog along a riverbank in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire.
Police have said their "main working hypothesis" is that she fell into the River Wyre and that "this is not suspicious but a tragic case of a missing person".

As the search for the mum approaches two weeks, Nicola’s friend Jill Peck has shared a heartbreaking update on how her two daughters, Sophia, six and Harriet, nine are coping.
Speaking to GB News, she said: “More than ever, as a family and as friends we’re keeping hope.
“We're trying our best to stay positive. We want to bring Nikki home. Her two little girls need her, and they're desperate for her back to cuddle them in at night.”
Despite spending two days scouring the River Wyre, private divers, Specialist Group International, have found no trace of Nicola.
Peter Faulding, the organisation’s founder, said he believed that if his team couldn’t find any sign of the mum then there could have been "third party involvement".
Jill added: “It's one of the situations throughout life you don't want to have to live through and we are so grateful to the SGI team and obviously the police who are working closely with them.

“The community are just working tirelessly really to try and find out what's happened to Nikki. It’s an emotional roller coaster.”
Officers have opened 500 lines of inquiry and contacted 700 drivers who were in the area when Nicola was last seen on January 27, but said they had “so far not found anything of note.”
Lancashire police say a team of 40 detectives are working on the case and more than 1,000 pieces of information have been submitted by members of the public, according to Superintendent Sally Riley.
