A Conservative MP has called on the Government to halt the rollout of the mRNA Covid vaccine over concerns of the harm it could be having.

Andrew Bridgen cited a study published by BMJ that looked at the “appropriateness” of booster mandates for students in North America.

It said that the mRNA booster in young people was unjustifiable and concluded that it should not be given to them.

Earlier this month the Government authorised the rollout of the Covid vaccine in infants and children ages 6 months to four-year-olds.

Bridgen joined Laurence Fox on GB News to react to the findings of the study, he said: “In Washington, I’m speaking with politicians over here, senators, congressmen who are skeptical of the vaccine and its efficacy. And what they believe is, and I'm inclined to agree with them is that our health system has been captured by Big Pharma who are making an awful lot of money out of these vaccines.

“That sort of profit margin, that buys an awful lot of influence.

“There needs to be an explanation. Who's advising the government that we need to vaccinate babies down to six months or at no risk from the virus itself?"

Asked about the government’s stance on allowing infants to get the Covid vaccine he said: “They'll be seen to be on the wrong side of history, and also, ultimately, they'll be on the wrong side of common sense and reason.”
