A Manchester resident has found herself at the centre of a neighbourhood dispute after purchasing a run-down property complete with towering conifer trees.
Bekah, who has been sharing her home renovation journey online, discovered that the enormous trees reached the height of a three-storey building.
The trees had been causing significant problems with mobile phone signals for residents in the surrounding area, according to Bekah.
Despite widespread connectivity issues affecting multiple households, the situation had remained unresolved for years before the new homeowner arrived.
The property's previous owners faced resistance when they attempted to address the issue.
A neighbouring building had proposed paying for the trees to be trimmed, specifically citing the mobile signal interference as their primary concern.
However, residents living behind the property objected to the plan.
Their refusal effectively blocked any action, leaving the massive conifers untouched.

Bekah explained to her social media followers: "Apparently, the next-door building offered to pay to cut these trees down a little bit, because apparently it was blocking the signal, that's the reason why the 5G is really bad in the house."
She added: "Apparently, the neighbours round the back said that they didn't want them too, so that's why we've been left with this issue."
The Manchester homeowner acknowledged that tackling such enormous conifers exceeded her DIY capabilities.
She told her followers: "As much as I'd love to DIY this, we needed to call in the big guns for this."

While the cutting service was provided free of charge, disposing of the timber proved costly.
Multiple contractors quoted between £300 and £400 for removing the wood from the property, the homeowner confirmed.
The renovation video gained significant traction on TikTok, accumulating more than 300,000 views on Bekah's account @renovationstyled.
Viewers shared their own experiences and offered practical suggestions for dealing with similar situations.

One commenter described facing comparable challenges. "We have the same issue although, ours isn't as high as yours. We have been cutting ours down ourselves," they wrote.
"And we have been taking it to the recycling centre in ton bags. It's a nightmare."
Another viewer added: "Looks much better, those trees are so awful."
A third simply said: "They were huge."
Several comments highlighted the impressive scale of the tree-cutting operation, with one person remarking: "I bet he had the best day ever going up that high all day!"
