A mum has claimed her "entitled" neighbour complained about her children making "too much noise" while playing in the garden during the school holidays.
The woman said her children, aged seven and nine, were just "running around laughing" and "doing normal kid stuff" enjoying the sunny weather at around 10am when her disgruntled neighbour "stormed over" to moan about the noise.
"[The neighbour] started complaining that my kids were making too much noise and disrupting her peace at 10am when birds are chirping and the sun is shining", the mum wrote to Reddit.

"She even said she had trouble concentrating on her work because of the racket."
Despite the neighbour's claims that she was struggling to focus due to the noise, the mum pointed out she can sometimes hear her "vacuuming and blasting her television through the walls".
The woman added: "I tried to explain to her that kids playing outside is literally part of living in a neighbourhood and that 10am is not some kind of forbidden time for joy and laughter.
"She just scoffed and walked away like I was the unreasonable one.
"Are we seriously going to let entitled neighbours police the sound of children playing. What is next, banning laughter?"

The post prompted hundreds of mixed responses, with one woman even saying the mum should call the police.
The Reddit user commented: "If she complains again, tell her to call the police and have them tell her there’s nothing wrong with what your kids are doing."
Another person said the neighbour was "unreasonable", adding the homeowner's children had "every right" to play outside in their own garden.
"Happy kids playing in a front yard is a sign of a happy home and a safe neighbourhood, they wrote.

"Two houses down from me, my neighbour has a backyard trampoline.
"We hear kids playing out there all the time. And it's fine, because the kids are having outside fun. That's what kids are supposed to do."
One person however said if the children are "screaming" while playing they "should be told to stop".
Another added: "I need more information. Kids playing is not a problem. But I think we all know not all kids just play.
"Some scream while playing. Some scream a lot. We have neighbours who have grandkids. They play like normal kids.
"Down the block, we have a family whose children let out piercing screams every few minutes while 'playing'. It sets my teeth on edge, regardless of the hour of the day."
