A man has found himself under unwanted surveillance after discovering his neighbour's security device pointed directly towards his garden.
The homeowner, who shares content online as "Scooobz 13", was unwinding in his garden when he spotted the intrusive camera monitoring his activities.
The motion-detecting device was positioned to capture his entire garden area, leaving him saying: "Welcome to the reality show I didn't sign up for."
"Here I am, sat in my garden and look at that there - staring right at me," he stated while demonstrating the camera's invasive angle.
Rather than addressing the privacy concern, the neighbour's response proved even more troubling.
After a polite request to redirect or remove the surveillance equipment, the resident next door chose to escalate matters by mounting a second camera.
The frustrated homeowner documented this development on social media, noting: "Ask our neighbour to respect our privacy - his solution? More surveillance."
He expressed his dismay at the situation saying: "When you politely ask your neighbour not to film in your garden, so he naturally installs a second one."

The peculiar response has left the man questioning his neighbour's motives, particularly as the cameras serve no apparent security purpose beyond monitoring his private garden activities.
The property owner posted on TikTok to share footage of the intrusive cameras, where his posts rapidly gained traction amongst social media users.
His video accumulated more than 99,000 views within three days.
The clips also attracted 1,073 likes and 307 comments from viewers shocked by the neighbour's behaviour.
In one recording, he questioned whether the surveillance was inappropriate, asking: "Is this weird or is it me? The only thing he can view is me in my garden."
His documentation of the privacy violation resonated with many online users who found themselves appalled by the neighbour's conduct.
Online viewers responded with practical guidance and legal recommendations for addressing the surveillance issue.
"Report it to the police and council!" one commenter urged.

Another suggested: "Call the police and ask them if you can do anything about it."
Several users proposed the incident could warrant formal action, with one noting: "Not on mate...get him reported and you could get damages for disturbing your peace."
Others offered immediate solutions to counter the cameras.
"If it's a WiFi cam you can get a WiFi blocker," one person recommended.
Alternative suggestions included using mirrors to reflect light into the lens and hanging sheets on washing lines to obstruct the camera's view.
