A man has shared his experience after spending £600 on National Lottery's Millionaire Maker Scratchcards in pursuit of the elusive £1million top prize.
TikTok user Jax decided to try his luck at scratching 120 cards despite the 1 in 3.03 odds of winning various cash prizes.
Each card was bought for £5.
He enticingly captioned his video: "Can't believe how much I won."

PAAt the beginning of his scratching marathon, Jax stated: "I'm about to scratch 120 Millionaire Maker Scratchcards - this could take a while.
He added: "Hopefully, the first one is a winner... but no, let's hope there aren't too many more like this."
The social media user embarked on his mission to get through all of his Lottery cards, documenting the entire process.
As he reached the halfway mark, Jax pointed out the striking disparity between his significantly larger "loser pile" and the modest "winner pile".

Undeterred by the growing evidence, Jax persisted in his pursuit.
The final results, however, were disappointing.
"So I spent £600 on these Scratchcards - and the return was £360. That's a loss of £240," he revealed at the conclusion of his video.

Issuing a warning to viewers, Jax stated: "Stay away from the Scratchcards - you think you're going to win, but you're just not. Please don't gamble."
Taking to the comments section, a fellow TikTok user echoed Jax's call.
They wrote: "They are terrible things. I used to spend at least a tenner per day buying them. Haven't bought one since 1st January. Been putting £10 per day in a tin. Christmas sorted."
