It is not clear who launched the aerial onslaught against the Russian capital
Moscow has been targeted by a series of drone attacks as some residents in the Russian capital were evacuated.
Drones inflicted “minor” damage on buildings in Moscow in an onslaught on Tuesday, Kremlin officials have claimed.
No serious injuries were reported and air defence systems reportedly destroyed several drones on their approach to Moscow.
However, two residents received medical assistance.

Sobyanin claimed: “According to information from the city’s medical services, at the moment none of the residents of the homes damaged by UAVs have been seriously hurt. Two people sought medical assistance.
“No one needed hospitalisation, the necessary help was provided on site.
“Also, emergency services and ambulance crews continue to work at the incident sites.”
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his Telegram messaging channel: “All emergency services of the city are at the scene of incidents.”

Andrei Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow Oblast region, also claimed several drones were shot down.
Between four and 10 drones were shot down on the outskirts of Moscow and the surrounding region, several Russian Telegram messaging channels have suggested.
It is not clear who was behind the aerial attack against the Russian capital.

However, the head of Ukraine’s military intelligence warned the Kremlin that Kyiv would issue a swift response to Russian missile strikes.
Following attacks against the Ukrainian capital on Monday, General Kyrylo Budanov said: “All those who tried to intimidate us, dreaming that it would have some effect, you will regret it very soon.”
Buildings were set ablaze in Kyiv last night after Russia launched air strikes for the third night running.
Ukraine’s military administration claimed more than 20 kamikaze drones had been destroyed during the latest onslaught.

However, one person was killed and three sustained injuries as a fire broke out at a multi-storey building in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district.
The administration said: “Two upper floors are destroyed, and there may be people under the rubble.”
The latest attack marks the seventeenth onslaught against Kyiv since the beginning of May.
