Sara Savogi has spoken out on her alleged incident with the former Harrods boss
Sara Savogi, one of Mohamed Al-Fayed's alleged victims, has spoken out about her experience of sexual assault by the former Harrods owner.
In an interview with GB News, Savogi recounted the alleged incident and her subsequent emotional turmoil.
"I just thought, was it what I was wearing? Why did he do that to me? Was it because I looked back at him when he kept staring at me in the restaurant?" Savogi said, describing her initial self-blame.
She vividly recalled Al-Fayed's demeanour during the alleged assault: "He has this look in his eyes and I'll never forget it. It was like a monstrous, 'I'm going to get what I want from you, I don't care how you feel'."
Savogi believes the public setting may have prevented further assault. "I do think because it was in a public place, so to speak, he would have gone further had he could," she stated.
She added, "I think he was worried somebody might come in or I might have started screaming or something like that. He made his exit pretty quickly, and I think he definitely would have raped me if he'd had half the chance 100 per cent."

Mohamed Al Fayed was accused of rape and sexual assault by dozens of women over a period of at least 20 yearsPAThe Metropolitan Police are investigating new allegations against Al-Fayed, in addition to previously reported offences between 1979 and 2013 that resulted in no charges. The force is encouraging more people to come forward.
Harrods' current owners have expressed shock at the allegations, stating they are "utterly appalled". They are conducting an internal review to determine if any current staff were involved "directly or indirectly".
A spokesperson for Harrods said: "The Harrods of today is a very different organisation to the one owned and controlled by Al Fayed between 1985 and 2010, it is one that seeks to put the welfare of our employees at the heart of everything we do."
