Two Afghan asylum seekers who raped a 15-year-old girl after arriving in Britain on small boats have been jailed

Women's safety campaigner Paola Diana has declared Britain's migrant crisis a "national emergency" after two illegal migrants were jailed for the rape of a 15-year-old girl.

GB News host Martin Daubney was visibly moved as the Women's Policy Centre Chair admitted she "fears for her daughter's safety" due to the increasing rates of crimes against women and girls by foreign nationals.

Ms Diana has called for the deportation of illegal migrants after two Afghan asylum seekers were jailed for the rape of a teenage girl in Leamington Spa.

Jan Jahanzeb was handed a prison sentence of 10 years and eight months and Israr Niazal received nine years and 10 months at Warwick Crown Court on Monday.

Asked by Martin whether the footage of the incident shown in court should be made public, Ms Diana agreed: "It would be hard to watch, but the people of this country need to watch these videos.

"We need to know how easy it is for these type of men to abduct young girls and women, to rape them, and to maybe kill them."

Stressing there could be "many more cases" that go unreported, she added: "We don't know how many more cases they are, but we think that there are much more.

"Because, as with domestic abuse, we know the numbers are much higher because not all rape victims go to the police to report it because they are too scared."

Declaring Britain's growing migrant crisis poses a "national threat" to women's safety, Ms Diana stated: "And I believe, Martin, that this is a time to say that illegal migration is posing a national threat to women and girls, a national threat to their safety.

"And is it time for our politicians to stop hiding. They have to face the reality, and they have to protect women and girls in this country."

Despairing at the latest case against a young British girl by a foreign national, Martin said: "I think we're at the point now where people are almost beyond angry. People need to feel there's some control, there's some framework, there's some sympathy, and there's a priority for British citizens.

"And I just think we have to stop burying our heads in the sand. How many more times can you and I have these conversations, can these these stories break on national TV before we say enough is enough?"

Ms Diana admitted: "I'm a mother, and every day when my daughter goes out, I'm in fear, because I fear she might encounter one of these illegal migrants being so violent towards her.

"I don't care about the fact that I have a different culture, they should know that this is not the way they should behave in this country."

Claiming many of the illegal migrants "claim to be minors", the women's safety campaigner also called for the deportations of those who have entered Britain illegally.

She explained: "And also many of these people, they pretend to be minors. In reality they are not, so they should be checked. We know that you need just a DNA dental check and you know the real age of a person.

"So that's why they need to have more severe penalties and they need to be deported to their countries.

"But we have to stop the borders, that's the main emergency in this country."

Ms Diana warned: "If we don't stop the borders, these rapists, we can deport them, but then they will come back, and we know that already. Many of them already came back.

"This is a national emergency. We need to protect our women and girls."
