Channel migrants entering the UK via small boat crossings are being waved on to British soil without strict security checks when they disembark from the new port, ushered through border security faster than you can get to work.
Hundreds of migrants arriving illegally on the Kent coast from France in the past month have reportedly been whisked through the border in less than half an hour after setting foot on British soil - faster than the average UK work commute time.
Small boat migrants are waved through security checks in just 30 minutes at British ports | GETTYThe Home Office has temporarily switched the Kent arrival port for boat migrants from Dover to Ramsgate, 20 miles away, revealing what whistleblowers have suggested is a "dangerous" gap in security.
The switch has reportedly ushered a lack of rigorous vetting by Border Force and intelligence services, failing to weed out suspected foreign criminals or terrorists coming into the country.

"We have no idea who they are or where they come from. They are mostly young men. Many commit sexual offences and crimes in the UK".
An investigation by the Daily Mail timed the movement of migrants who arrived in Ramsgate after being picked up mid-Channel by the Border Force vessels Typhoon, Defender and Volunteer since the beginning of February.

On February 9, Defender brought in migrants at 9.50am, who had left the port by 10.20am, arriving 13 minutes later at Manston processing centre - a total of 43 minutes.
The Volunteer berthed later that day, with migrants disembarking at 10.58am, before arriving in Manston at 11.42am - vastly less time than it takes a UK national to be seen in a hospital emergency department at a mere 44 minutes, compared to the endless hours experienced waiting for use of public services.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Small boat migrants continue to cross the Channel under Sir Keir Starmer, taking the total to 194,000 | GB NEWSThe new arrivals at the camp, almost all illegal entrants, stay for up to three days for fingerprinting, identification and security interviews - which last just 45 minutes on average.
They are then sent to migrant hotels or Home Office properties around the country, funded by the taxpayer - although the number of asylum seekers being housed temporarily in British hotels has fallen to its lowest level for 18 months, a Labour minister told GB News
The Home Office assure Manston to be a secure camp, but a whistleblower warned: "We know of cases where migrants have disappeared, been picked up by relatives and even visited the local McDonald's. It is not a prison, nor meant to be."
By contrast, those at Dover got dry clothes, were screened for illnesses and faced questions about their identity, according to the Home Office - a process that took each contingent hours before they were taken to Manston.
More than 195,000 migrants have crossed the Channel since the crisis started in 2018 | PAA whistleblower told the Mail: "Many were undocumented, completely anonymous. They often throw away their passports in France or during their journey. No one really knows who they are or what their intentions might be. It is potentially hazardous".
At 6.30am on Wednesday, the Border Force vessel Ranger brought in a group who had set off from France soon after midnight, where following brief checks, they left Ramsgate on a coach less than half an hour later with no security interviews.
Zia Yusuf, Reform UK's home affairs spokesman, said: "Every individual arriving illegally must be immediately detained and deported. Anything less puts public safety at risk".
Some 74 migrants arrived in Ramsgate on Tuesday, the first since February 9, bringing the total this year to 1,604.
Adverse weather conditions in the Channel since the year began have seen fewer recorded migrant entries, with January ushering in the fewest migrants in the month in 2021.
Despite this, with weather conditions getting better, Britain braces for the biggest surge of small boats so far this year, as hundreds make their way across the Channel.
Almost 600 small boat migrants crossed the English Channel on Wednesday, the biggest one-day surge this year, pushing the total since January 1 to over 2,000.
The Home Office said: "Security‑check processes have not been affected by this temporary relocation, and all arrivals continue to be processed in the usual way".
