Siobhan Whyte has heartbreakingly recalled the murder of her daughter, Rhiannon Whyte, by a Sudanese illegal migrant.
The grieving mother sat down with Nigel Farage to share the devastating testimony as the Reform UK leader set out plans for a crackdown on the migrant crisis.
Rhiannon Whyte, 27, was stabbed with a screwdriver 23 times by asylum seeker Deng Chol Majek on October 20, 2024, just three months after he entered the country.
Mrs Whyte began: “Rhiannon was stabbed on October 24 by a migrant who had been in this country 11 weeks. He had fled North Sudan for his own safety, apparently.”

“He didn't know Rhiannon. She didn't know him. She just worked in a hotel where she looked after them.
“He took Rhiannon's life in 90 seconds, stabbed her through the main brainstem.
The heartbroken mother continued: “He has never shown any remorse.
“He called forensics liars. He just didn't care. He wouldn't tell us why. He just denied everything.”

“So we've had to live with that. Her little boy has been left without a mum. My children have been left without their sister, and I've lost my daughter."
Addressing the migrant crisis broadly, the grieving mother said: “Something needs to be done”.
“They need to stop allowing them in, because if not Rhiannon, who’s next?”
Stirred by her remarks, Mr Farage said: “Well, I think those words are very powerful. Who next?”

“It doesn't really matter how much money we send them, because we've already given them £800million to stop this since 2014.
“I think cases like this genuinely outrage the British public, as they should.
“This murder, this death, was wholly unnecessary in every way,” the Reform UK leader said.

Laying down measures to resolve the crisis, Mr Farage said: "We have been insisting now for years that we not only have to leave the ECHR [European Convention on Human Rights].
"Anyone who comes in the back of a lorry on a small boat is immediately detained and not free to walk the streets," he declared.
Responding to a question from GB News's Katherine Forster on who ultimately bore responsibility for Rhiannon Whyte's murder, the Reform UK leader answered: "It's the British government that, despite massive public demand for something to be done, has seen absolutely nothing done.
"A previous government that promised they stopped the boats, this government that said they would smash the gangs, I very fairly asked, what is Plan B? There clearly isn't one of any kind at all, and so I personally blame the government."
Mrs Whyte agreed.
