An attacker in Michigan has been shot dead after ramming a vehicle into a synagogue in Michigan

A man who was nearly killed in an antisemetic attack in London has said he thinks it is "just a matter of time" before the UK experiences another terror attack aimed at Jews.

Speaking to GB News, Brian Harris emphasised that his own ordeal represents just one among thousands of similar incidents affecting the Jewish community.

"I wouldn't say it might happen, it will happen," Mr Harris declared when asked about the prospect of a major attack on Jews in Britain.

He stressed that his case, while harrowing, reflects a far broader crisis facing Jewish people across the country.

The assault unfolded in a North London neighbourhood when Harris encountered a young man walking through the streets bellowing Nazi slogans and violent threats against Jewish people.

"There was a young guy walking on the streets screaming very loudly, 'Heil Hitler, death to all Jews, Jews are vermin', expletives that I can't even begin to tell you," Mr Harris recounted.

Rather than retreat indoors, Mr Harris chose to confront the individual, demanding he cease his abuse.

When the man persisted with even greater intensity, Mr Harris telephoned 999 while maintaining a cautious distance of two to three metres behind the aggressor.

"And my mind wandered when I was speaking to the police, and then he threw himself at me and threw me in front of a speeding car," Mr Harris explained.

Mr Harris survived the collision only because the young driver reacted with exceptional speed, striking him with the vehicle's corner rather than head-on.

The music producer drew a chilling comparison between contemporary Britain and the rise of Nazi Germany, suggesting the nation fails to recognise the parallels.

"My view is we look at the grainy footage of Germany between 1933 and 1937 and we don't correlate the fact that I think Britain is in exactly the same situation now," he stated.

To underscore the severity of the threat, Mr Harris cited intelligence services having thwarted 20 planned murderous attacks against British Jews within the past twelve months alone.

Mr Harris offered his interpretation of the October 7 attacks, arguing they served a strategic purpose beyond terrorism.

"October the seventh was not an unjust, horrific terrorist attack, it was a very, very well orchestrated marketing campaign," he asserted.

He contended that the perpetrators anticipated precisely how Western democracies would respond to such atrocities, exploiting that reaction to spread antisemitism globally.

"They turned the reaction to infiltrate the minds of the disaffected, the easily led and the ill-informed, to turn hatred against the Jews worldwide," Harris said.

He urged Western Governments to recognise what is unfolding before further violence occurs.

In another antisemitic attack on Thursday, a rifle-armed man drove his vehicle into Temple Israel synagogue in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, before being shot dead by security personnel.

The incident occurred at one of America's largest synagogues, which serves approximately 12,000 members and operates an early childhood centre on site.
