Meghan and Harry’s vision to be like the Obamas has been “thrown out of the window” by Netflix.
Meghan’s Pearl animated series was ditched by Netflix earlier this month after the streaming giant saw a drop in subscribers.
And now the pair are reportedly filming an “at home with the Sussexes” docuseries for Netflix instead.

Royal expert Richard Eden says Meghan and Harry envisaged themselves as "like the Obamas"
According to reports, Meghan and Harry have already been working on the “at home docuseries”, with Netflix allegedly wanting to release the show at the end of this year.
But royal expert Richard Eden believes the new series will be a huge blow for the Sussexes and their brand.
Speaking on the Palace Confidential podcast, Mr Eden said: “Netflix really do want bang for their buck, I think that Harry and Meghan when they signed this multi-million pound deal with Netflix, envisaged themselves as like the Obamas who’d be commissioning these really worthy series.
“That’s all been thrown out of the window. Netflix have ditched Pearl, the very worthy animated series about a teenage girl, inspired by Meghan, and instead they’re going for what they think will sell, which is a programme about the Sussexes themselves.”
Mr Eden added that while the pair’s children, Archie and Lilibet have been kept out of the public eye, he wouldn’t be surprised if they featured in the docuseries.
He added: “They’ve always been keen to keep the children out of the public eye, but when they gave that interview to Oprah Winfrey, what did we see? We see Archie along the beach and we saw the first glimpses of family.
“So I’m sure Netflix, if they’re paying that money, would expect to see the children as well.”
