The GB News host said victims of group-based abuse have been ignored by mainstream media

Mark White has said he feels “ashamed” as he criticised what he described as an obsession within the establishment media over Jeffrey Epstein-linked figures, while historic grooming gang scandals were ignored.

Speaking about the latest tranche of documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein, Mark said there were “important issues at play” and stressed there were real victims of Epstein’s crimes.

However, he accused large parts of the mainstream media of “salivating” over attempts to uncover evidence against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and showing little interest in other names mentioned in the documents.

Speaking on the People's Channel this morning, the host explained: "I’ve just got to say with this whole thing, I know that there are important issues at play here.

"There are victims of just what this horrible individual Jeffrey Epstein did.

"But, you know, you’ve got so much of the establishment media just salivating over every release, looking for more in the way of evidence to bury Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who obviously denies any wrongdoing here.

"And of course, in Trump, they find nothing of interest, it seems, in the latest documents that have been released.

"I just wish that perhaps those media outlets had been as determined to uncover the wrongdoing that we saw with the grooming gangs, in this country, where for decades these young women were just abused and ignored by those authorities.

"It doesn't make sensational headlines. I just find the media obsession a bit distasteful.

"Well, I feel ashamed actually at times when I see the way that, as I say, they salivate over stories like this and yet completely ignore real moral outrage such as the grooming gangs."

This comes as Andrew appears to have been pictured on all fours over a woman in the latest release of the Epstein files.

A man, believed to be the former Duke of York, looks at the camera while a woman, whose face is redacted, lies on her back between his arms. In a separate photo, the man has his hand placed on her torso.

Another person is visible in the background, with bare feet resting against a table while seated on a leopard-print chair.

More than three million documents have been released by the US Department of Justice, with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche saying the files contain “extensive redactions”.

The redactions cover the names of victims, medical records, any material depicting child sexual abuse and information that could compromise an active investigation.

One document appears to show an alleged email exchange between Epstein and Andrew in April 2010, in which the late convicted paedophile tells the former prince he has “a friend who I think you might enjoy having dinner with”.

The files appear to show the pair sharing dates when she would be in London.

Epstein allegedly described her as 26, Russian, “beautiful, trustworthy and yes she has your email".

Andrew is said to have replied: “Of course. I am in Geneva until the morning of 22nd but would be delighted to see her.”

He continued: “Will she be bringing a message from you? Please give her my contact details to get in touch.”

The email is signed off with: "A - HRH The Duke of York KG."

A separate email appears to show Andrew inviting Epstein to Buckingham Palace in September 2010, with the former Duke of York allegedly emailing him: "I am just departing Scotland, should be down by 18:00. I'll ring you when I get down if you can give me a number to ring.

"Alternatively, we could have dinner at Buckingham Palace and lots of privacy. A."

Epstein appeared to respond: "Already in London, what time would you like me and [redacted]. We will also need/have private time."

Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing and being named in the files does not imply any misconduct.
