The main suspect in the Madeleine McCann case has attempted to confront a prosecutor who accused him of abducting the toddler.
Christian Brueckner travelled to confront lawyer Hans Christian Wolters, who claimed he had evidence that he had not revealed showing that Brueckner abducted and killed Madeleine.
Brueckner has denied any involvement in her disappearance.
The suspect, who was released from jail a fortnight ago after spending seven years behind bars for a rape sentence, told Sky News: "The prosecutor refused to meet me, but I told his representative I wanted his help to get my life back.
"I'm being hounded by the media, and it's his fault. I want him to take responsibility.
"I was told there was nothing they could do to help. I had been convicted and released, and I wasn't their responsibility."
Brueckner was living in a two-bed flat in the northern town of Neumunster, north of Hamburg.
He was moved out of the flat by 15 officers after being seen staring at children playing outside.

As he was driven away by police, parents in the nearby flats shouted: "Scum, shame on you!"
One mum stated: "Good riddance, I'm glad he's gone. I can't believe they bought him here anyway."
Another dad said: "This man is a s***. Everyone knew he was here, and everyone was afraid. We can get on with our lives now - I pray they take him to a different town."
While staying in the town, a woman at a Domino's pizza claimed Brueckner had turned up in a false beard.
Days later, her colleague said she had seen the pictures and was unsure if it was Brueckner.
A source close to the rapist claimed that he had not been out at all apart from sorting out his phone and going out for a steak.
Reports suggest Brueckner is now staying in a hotel in an unnamed town.
In a recent interview with Germany's Stern magazine, Brueckner's lawyer Dr Fulscher said: "The Braunschweig public prosecutor's office has fuelled this media campaign of prejudgment.

"Without presenting sufficient evidence or even allowing my client to inspect the files.
"I find this highly questionable from a constitutional point of view. In my opinion, the Braunschweig public prosecutor's office has made rehabilitation impossible."
Brueckner was released earlier this month after a prosecutor failed to find enough evidence to charge him in the Madeleine case.
