A homeless man has admitted to beating to death a woman who invited him to stay at her home.
Police found Victoria Adams dead in her Hammersmith flat in west London in February after concerned neighbours called emergency services.
Apapale Adoum, 39, admitted murder of the 37-year-old at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.

The murder took place on Coulter Road in Hammersmith

Ms Adams met Adoum on February 6 while he was living in a homeless shelter.
She then invited him to stay with her, but at some point wrote him a note asking him to leave.
On February 9, she was struck repeatedly with a mallet and suffered at least ten injuries to the back and side of her head.
The mother-of-three was found face down in a bedroom with a black bin bag over her head, which had been covered by a pillow.

Judge Nigel Lickley said: "Various handwritten notes about what had happened at the flat had been prepared."
Ms Adams's drug use meant she was considered "vulnerable".
It is also believed she had invited homeless people to stay at her flat before.
Ms Adams's neighbours said they were shocked when her death was confirmed - and some claimed they had heard screams.

The incident took place on Coulter Road in Hammersmith, a quiet residential street which has seen houses sold consistently for upwards of £1million.
The defendant was remanded in custody and his case was adjourned for sentencing on October 24.
Judge Lickley said: "The sentence for murder is a life sentence, and that is what I will pass."
